Hello, I’m Carys Lorraine, a creative enthusiast with a passion for design and a knack for web development. I hold a BA Hons in Creative Advertising from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in the Swansea College of Art, and I’ve expanded my skill set through web development studies in HTML and CSS at Cardiff University.
A Journey in Creativity
As a freelance designer, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a diverse range of clients. Some of my notable projects include working with Driftwood, a tattoo parlor in Swansea, and supporting the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) motorsport team at M Sport Eng. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to projects with larger brands during my full-time role in Cardiff, although confidentiality constraints prevent me from disclosing specific names.
Inspiration from the World
I firmly believe that inspiration can be found everywhere, and I draw my creative energy from a variety of sources. Whether it’s stepping out into the beauty of nature, delving into the captivating art movements of the past, or immersing myself in the vibes of the 70s retro era, I find that creativity knows no boundaries.
Balancing Life and Interests
Beyond the world of design, I’m passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy activities like running, swimming, and yoga to keep both body and mind in top shape. In addition to that, I actively volunteer with GirlGuiding and am currently pursuing my DofE Gold Award, adding meaningful experiences to my life journey… I am currently in my “running girl era” and enjoy the occasional 10k race!
