Brief
I was commissioned to design a new brand identity for JLD Media, a media company seeking a clean, professional, and versatile logo to represent their business across digital and print platforms.
Concept
The goal was to create a modern yet timeless identity, balancing professionalism with creativity. The logo uses a strong serif typeface with a distinctive flowing flourish in the letter a, giving the design a unique and recognisable edge. The colour palette combines bold mustard yellow, classic black, and neutral greys, offering flexibility for a range of applications.
Execution
I developed a full logo suite, including variations for light and dark backgrounds, as well as brand guidelines with colour codes. The branding was tested across different formats such as business cards, digital mockups, and promotional material to ensure consistency and impact.
Outcome
The final identity gives JLD Media a polished, professional presence that is both modern and adaptable. The logo and supporting colour system provide a strong foundation for the company’s future growth and communication across multiple media channels.
